Geraldine “Geri” Romager

Funeral service for Geraldine “Geri” Romager, 69, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Romager died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at her residence. She was born April 26, 1937, in Jefferson County to James Edward “Pete” Lowery and Sarah Lucille Seagle Lowery. She worked as a LPN in the medical profession for many years and was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Safely; two brothers, Bo Lowery and Buddy Lowery; and a sister, Tiny Bryant.
She is survived by her husband, A. E. “Mojo” Romager of Hartselle; a son, Kenneth E. Romager and wife Angie of Hartselle; a daughter, Pam Johnson and husband Robby of Decatur; five sisters, Alta Foster of Hueytown, Shirley Nolen of Gurley, Melba Williamson of Brookwood, Mildred Thrasher of Pell City and Patricia Wood of Cleveland; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Darrell Harris, Jim Hall, Alan Hall, Sam Gugliotta, Jerry Kyker and Danny Yocom.
A special thanks to Aryn McIntire and Hospice of the Valley. At her request, memorials may be made to the East Highland Baptist Church Building Fund or to Hospice of the Valley.
