Funeral for Betty Doris Penn, 76, of Falkville was Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Penn died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Etowah County to Virgil Kirkpatrick and Lillie Morris Kirkpatrick. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Lee Penn; a brother, Gilbert Kirkpatrick; and a sister, Myrtle Cambron.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Penn of Holy Pond and Roger Penn of Memphis; a sister-in-law, Peggy Rogers of Danville; and two grandchildren, Michael and Katherine Penn of Memphis.
