Funeral for Beverly Woods, 44, of Somerville was Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Pitts officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.
Ms. Woods died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital.
She was born Dec. 11, 1961, in Morgan County to Orrin Glenn Stringer and Gertrude Ophelia Stringer.
She is survived by two brothers, Glenn Stringer of Decatur and Phillip Stringer of Hartselle; six sisters, Bertha Woods of Town Creek, Renay Steel of Decatur, Tammy Bogle of Boosier City, La. and Brenda Selvage, Teresa Plant and Teria Whitehead, all of Somerville; and closest friend, Herminio Villareal.
Pallbearers were Matt Stringer, Davy Stringer, Jonathan Stringer, Noah Boyd, Brian Kelsoe and Brad Hughs.
