Barkley Bridge students bring Christmas classic to life

Third grade students at Barkley Bridge Elementary School were featured in their own production of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens in the school concourse Thursday morning. Two performances were given to order to allow each student to participate and all other students and guests to attend.
The production was directed by third grade teachers Mrs. Clemons, Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Jared and Mr. Waynick. Mrs. Rahm directed music.
Starring in lead roles as Ebenezer Scrooge were Johnston McCutcheon and Jordan Smith.
Other cast members are listed as follows:
Bob Cratchitt: Bryant Harmon and Holden Langston.
Marley: Matt Pham and Mason Pettey.
Spirit of Christmas Past: Sarah Butler and Lauren Ellis.
Spirit of Christmas Present: Caroline Partlow and Brooke Speegle.
Spirit of Christmas Future: Carter Shelton and Connor Warhurst.
Scrooge as a Boy: Sasha Bradley and Austin Maner.
Mrs. Cratchitt: Morgan Griffith and Hannah Coulter.
Martha Cratchitt: Mallarie Anderson and Laura Beth Stepp.
Younger Cratchitts: Bailee Cox, Drew Copeland and Katie Brooks.
Tiny Tim: Mason Towers and Stone Hall.
Fred: Brad Gentle and Jake Nelson.
Mr. Fezzewig: Peyton Hammack and Cody Long.
