Dwaine Douglas 'Doug' Johnson

Funeral for Dwaine Douglas "Doug" Johnson, 62, of Decatur was Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. at Austinville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Marcus Long, James Cotton and Thomas Youngblood officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. He was employed by the Public Works Department, City of Decatur, for 36 years and was a member of Austinville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Flora Mae Johnson and a sister, Betty Lou Johnson.
He is survived by a sister, Martha Mae Johnson of Decatur; a brother, Bobby Joe Johnson of Decatur; two nephews, Shayne Johnson of Madison and Todd Johnson of Birmingham; three great-nephews; and a great-niece.
Pallbearers were Shayne Johnson, Todd Johnson, James Long, Russell Millwood, Don McLemore, Chris Lilly, Frank Little and Barry Kilpatrick.
Memorials may be made to the Community Free Clinic of Decatur-Morgan County.
