Tankersley, Gandy to wed
Steve and Renita Tankersley of Hanceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Nicole Tankersley, to Charles Perry Gandy, son of Allen and Kathy Gandy of Falkville.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hanceville High School and attended Wallace State Community College where she studied music and business administration. She is employed with Belk of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of David and Janette Nichols of Hanceville and Ollie Tankersley Rouse of Hayden.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Falkville High School.
He is employed with Bill Penney Toyota of Huntsville as a salesman.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gandy of Falkville and the late Perry and Orthy Anders of Hartselle.
The wedding will be held Jan. 6, 2006, at Gandy's Cove United Methodist Church of Falkville.
