Funeral for Billie Grace Bell, 87, of Danville was Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Parker and Bro. Jack Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Bell died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1918, in Jackson County to Emory Jurd Thornhill and Laura Bryant Thornhill. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church where she was active in the WMU. She was a member of Massey Homemaker's Club. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Barnell Bell; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Jack Bell and James Varnell Bell, both of Hartselle; one daughter, Doris Marie Bell Mitchell of Hartselle; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Brent Mitchell, Dustin Mitchell, James Bell, Billy Jack Bell, Robert Mitchell and Zach Tosti.
