Hartselle swimmers medal at Madison

Several Hartselle swimmers placed at the Madison Medal Meet on June 18. Those who placed were:
8-and-under – Alexandra Williams, third in 100-yard individual medley, fifth in 25-yard breaststroke and 25-yard butterfly; Tiffany Pittman, third in 25-yard breaststroke and fourth in 25-yard butterfly; Stormy Smith, eighth in 25-yard backstroke.
9/10-year-old – Aubrey Eve, second in 50-yard breaststroke and 100-yard breaststroke; Peyton Patterson, fifth in 50-yard butterfly and 100-yard freestyle and sixth in 100-yard IM; Jake Wayand, second in 100-yard IM and eighth in 50-yard breaststroke.
11/12-year-old – Faith Vest, second in 50-yard breaststroke, third in 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard backstroke; Meaghan Arundel, fifth in 100-yard breaststroke and eighth in 50-yard breaststroke; Sarah Roark, fourth in 100-yard backstroke and 50-yard backstroke.
13/14-year-old – Taylor Bean, first in 100-yard freestyle, second in 100-yard IM and 50-yard butterfly, fifth in 50-yard freestyle; Kaitlynn Stevens, third in 100-yard breaststroke.
15-and-older – Ashley Stevens, second in 50-yard breaststroke, third in 100-yard freestyle, fourth in 50-yard backstroke; Zach Blanton, second in 100-yard IM, third in 50-yard butterfly, sixth in 50-yard freestyle; Tyler Willis, first in 50-yard backstroke, second in 50-yard freestyle, third in 100-yard freestyle, fifth in 50-yard butterfly; Whitney Hayes, second in 50-yard butterfly.
