Funeral for J. T. Shadden, 83, of Somerville was Saturday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Smith and Bro. Curtis Sanford officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Shadden died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1921, in Tennessee to Arthur Thomas Shadden and Mary Jane Brady Shadden.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Lee Shadden of Somerville; four sons, James Larry Shadden of Decatur; Billy Ray Shadden and Bobby Joe Shadden, both of Somerville, and Jerry Thomas Shadden of Cullman; four daughters, Juanita Nix, Glenda Sue Sherrill and Freda Faye Way, all of Somerville, and Debra Kay Maples of Tullahoma, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
