James Elliott Brown

Funeral for James Elliott Brown, 73, of Falkville was Monday, Jan. 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Gable and Marvin Brock officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at his residence. He was born March 3, 1931, in Morgan County to Joseph Walter Brown and Lela Beatrice Compton Brown. He was a member of Bethsadia Baptist Church in Cullman County. He was retired from Wolverine Tube. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid Falkville Blue Devil fan and attended games even after he became wheelchair bound.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Diane Angle Brown of Falkville; three sons, Danny Abbott of Falkville, Ben Johnson of Moulton and William Hill of Cullman; five daughters, Hollie Barnhart, Sherry Hunt and Joy Rolling, all of Cullman, Kristie Montgomery of Athens and Teresa Tate of Corner; two sisters, Mildred Shaneyfelt and Glenn Dora Conour, both of Falkville; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Rollins, Neal Buckelew, Larry Buckelew, Lynn Angle, Chuck Conour, Ricky Hyche, Charlie Brown and George Green.
