Funeral for Oliver Burton Walker, 81, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Keith Whitley, Jeff Edge and James Watts officiating.
Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery. Mr. Walker died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 24, 1923, in Winston County to Daniel Monroe Walker and Vady Legg Walker. He was a long time residence of the Powell Chapel Community and was respected by many. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Brown Walker; two sons, Henry Burton Walker and Berney Joe Walker; one daughter, Helen Francis Turner; two brothers, Paul Walker and Kenneth Walker; one sister, Lucille Walker; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Terry, Guy Terry, Adam Terry, James Terry, Charlie Partain and Dennis Crawford.
