A graveside service for Earl T. Nix, 77, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with the Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Nix died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1927, in Lawrence County to Tommy Nix and Cora Harris Nix.
He is survived by his daughter, Bettye Curry and husband Billy of Lemont, Ill.; one brother, Tommy Nix and wife Nancy of Halls, Tenn.; one sister, Darlene Ziegler and husband Dave of Decatur; sister-in-law, Hester Nix of Hartselle; one granddaughter, Amanda Curry of Lemont, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bill Curry, Josh Nix, Jim Lenley, Mike Bice, Donny Berry and David Mason.
