Haywood C. Nix

Funeral for Haywood C. Nix, 76, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Barbee officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Nix died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in Lawrence County to Tommy Nix and Cora Alice Harris Nix.
He is survived by his wife Hester Nix of Hartselle; two sons, Charles Nix of Lombard, Ill. and Mark Nix of Hartselle; two daughters, Debbie Berry of Franklin Tenn. and Linda Bice of Decatur; three stepsons, Wayne Raspberry and Jim Lenley, both of Decatur; and James Sparkman of Hartselle; two stepdaughters, Shirley Adams and Marcie Mason, both of Decatur; two brothers, Earl Nix of Hartselle and Tommy Nix of Halls, Tenn.; one sister, Darlene Zeigler of Decatur; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Mason, Mike Bice, James Sparkman, Zachary Sparkman, Josh Nix, Jim Lenley and Donny Berry.
