Weddings and Engagements

Stevens, Jackson exchange vows
Jesse Laura Stevens of Fayette and Joshua Steven Jackson of Hartselle were wed July 24, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Fayette First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Stevens, father of the bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Stevens of Fayette. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ernest Jackson of Hartselle.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory gown with a floral embroidered bodice and an Italian satin A-line skirt with a tiffany train.
Lesley Nichols of Pell City was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Jill Ballinger of Northport, Carol Robbins of Tuscaloosa, Kristin Fowler of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Betsy Elmore of Fort Myers, Fla.
Olivia Coppedge of reform and Caitlin Thrash of Demopolis were flower girls. Dawson Salors of Jasper and Hunter Thrash of Demopolis were ring bearers.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Christopher Shumaker of McLean, Va., Benjamin Stevens of Fayette, Joseph Norwood of Tuscaloosa, and Nicholas Drew of Pensacola, Fla.
Music was provided by Stella Wallace of Fayette, Lori Smith and Steven Jackson, both of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
Myra Nichols was wedding director.
The couple honeymooned in Charleston, S.C. They reside in Tuscaloosa.
A rehearsal party was hosted by the groom's parents was held July 23 at the Fayette Civic Center.
A bride's luncheon was held July 23 at the home of hostess Robin Williams.
The couple was honored with several prenuptial events, including:
Sneed, Reynolds to wed Dec. 18
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen Sneed of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lee, to Matt Garet Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. Talmage Roy Reynolds of Hartselle.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Basil Hoke Green of Roanoke and the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Allen Sneed of Russellville. She is a 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and currently attends McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi social sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta and Hypatia honoraries.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Fredrick Joseph Abraham of Memphis, Tenn. and the late Mr. Abraham and Mrs. Oval Washington Reynolds of Iuka, Miss. and the late Mr. Reynolds. He is a 1999 graduate of Hartselle High School and attended Faulkner University of Montgomery and Calhoun Community College, graduating in 2003 with an associate's degree in aerospace technology. He is currently employed with Boeing.
