A graveside memorial service for Gertrude Ceceilia McFerran, 84, of Hartselle, formerly of Arab, was Sunday, Nov. 9, at Brookwood Cemetery at 2 p.m. with James Bodine officiating.
Mrs. McFerran died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at her residence. She was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Duryea, Penn., to William Kelly and Ceceilia Skoda Kelly. She was a retired school teacher from Westmoreland School System in Penn. She was the widow of James W. McFerran.
She is survived by one son, Greg McFerran of Huntsville; one daughter, Nancy Lott of Hartselle; William Kelly of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.
