Robertson, Hardin exchange vows
Brandi Michelle Robertson of Hartselle and Joseph Lee Hardin of Hartselle were wed Sept. 27, 2003, at 2p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Minster Greg Alred officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Teresa Robertson of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Jimmy and Joy Hardin of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The altar was decorated with ferns, ivy and clear icicle lights draped over the banisters. An arrangement of white spider mums and white daisies accented with greenery was used in the center with candelabra trees and globes on each side of the arrangements.
The bride wore a floor length gown of white crystal satin. The bodice featured tiny spaghetti straps with beaded embroidery on the front of the top. The skirt was of matching fabric with the train flowing into a semi-sweep. Her veil was made of white tulle trimmed in white satin ribbon and held by a tiara made of Austrian crystal.
Her bouquet featured white roses and white daisies accented by greenery and individual white ribbon wrapped stems.
Chrissy Bates of Hartselle was matron of honor.
Jennifer Hardin of Hartselle, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid.
The bride's attendants wore off-white lace dresses and carried white roses.
Chloe Shipley of Hartselle was the flower girl. Jacob Odem of Hartselle, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Jimmy Hardin, father of the groom, was best man.
Barry Tatum and Chris Watson, both of Hartselle, were groomsmen.
Alex Brown of Hartselle and Eli Allen of Priceville were ushers.
Music was provided by Billy Howell of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
The bride's table was draped with white lace cloth and tulle featuring green candles in crystal candleholders. Her cake was a white three-tier design with fresh white daisies and greenery between each tier.
The groom's cake was chocolate and topped with chocolate grapes.
Peggy Brown was the wedding director. Betty Howell, Emily Shipley, Summer Shipley and Amanda Mason assisted with the reception.
Boone Shipley of Danville distributed bubbles.
The couple will reside in Hartselle.
A rehearsal party was held at the church Sept. 26 hosted by the groom's parents.
