Vernice Miller Cheatham

Funeral for Vernice Miller Cheatham, 94, of Holly Pond was Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Peterson officiating.
Burial was in Corinth West Cemetery.
Mrs. Cheatham died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 28, 1909, in Morgan County to Brice Miller and Brisco Dial Miller.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Cheatham was the widow of William Lester Cheatham.
She is survived by five sons, Max Cheatham of Yaleville, Ark., Joe Neil Cheatham of Berlin, and Clyde Cheatham, Glenn Cheatham and Lynn Cheatham, all of Holly Pond; four daughters, Marjorie Poole of Sidney, Ohio, Lila Edwards of Holly Pond, Dixie Hays of Walter, and Sue Easterling of Brooklyn.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
