Vernice Holmes Robinson

A graveside service for Vernice Holmes Robinson, 83, of Falkville was Wednesday, July 9, at 11 a.m. at Falkville City Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Andrews officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Robinson died Monday, July 7, 2003, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Morgan County to Joseph Franklin Holmes and Amanda Monk Holmes.
She was a housewife and a member of the Cedar Plains Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Robinson, five brothers, Adlie, Emmitt, Ernie, John and Joseph Holmes, and two sisters, Edith Holmes and Clara Segars.
She is survived by one sister, Willodean Rice of Massey.
Pallbearers were Steve Haynes, Jodie Mote, Geremy Segars, Zach Holmes, Josh Pike and Heath Ryan.
