Selma Travis Nix

Funeral for Selma Travis Nix, 81, of Hartselle was Wednesday, May 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Stephenson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Nix died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1922, in Morgan County to Henry Samuel Travis and Mattie Rebecca Parker Travis. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert O. Nix of Hartselle; one son, Gilbert R. Nix of Decatur; one sister, Flora Travis Summerford of Decatur; and one grandson, Matthew S. Nix of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Heyward Nix, Bud Cole, Ronnie Travis, Dale Quillen, Ronald Roberts, and Bobby Walker.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl Legg, Marvin Golden, Roland Nix and John Paul Burgess.
