Funeral for Attley Adcock, 83, of Decatur was Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Holmes officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Adcock died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Sunbridge Health and Rehab in Decatur. He was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Morgan County to Perry Adcock and Idella Parker Adcock. He was a retired jet engine mechanic with the United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Johnson of Decatur and Sherry Cook of Dickinson, Texas; one sister, Laura Alice Hadley of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were friends and family.
