Houston Peebles

Graveside service for Houston Peebles, 61, of Hinesville, Ga., was Friday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. at Priceville Funeral Home with the Rev. James Gary Peebles officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Peebles died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. A native of Morgan County, he was an Army veteran and retired as maintenance supervisor for the Hinesville Housing Authority. He lived in Hinesville for the past 18 years. He was a Mason and former minister of Walthourville Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Wendy Stewart of Hinesville; two brothers, Fred E. Peebles of Hartselle and C. Preston Peebles of Decatur; three sisters, Annie R. Adkins and Peggy E. Chapman, both of Hartselle and Mildred Madison of Decatur; and one granddaughter.
