Funeral for Jesse L. (Leo) Yates, 75, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Yates died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. A native of Morgan County, he was retired from Metco Corp. as a Quality Controller after 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Donsia Mae Yates of Hartselle; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hill and Karen M. (Kay) Bridges, both of Hartselle; one sister, Laberne Y. Prestridge of Pleasant Grove; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
