Dora Childers Lindsey

Funeral for Dora Childers Lindsey, 84, of Falkville will be Thursday, May 9 (today), at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Blair and Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Eva.
Mrs. Lindsey died Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and was a senior companion with Community Action of Morgan County for several years before moving to Falkville Health Care Center. She was the mother of the late Ricky Lindsey.
She is survived by two sons, Dexter Lindsey of Hartselle and Ronnie Lindsey of Fairfax, Calif.; three daughters, Melba Puryear of Burbank, Calif., Wanda Woodruff of Hartselle and June Walling of Falkville; two brothers, Truel Childers of Hartselle and Elzin Childers of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wade Woodruff, Scott Walling, Clint Walling, Shane Lindsey, Justin Lindsey and Noel Childers.
