Weatherbee, Lipsey announce engagement

Lori Lipsey of Hartselle is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Madison Leigh Lipsey, to William Zachery Weatherbee, son of Billy and Gina Weatherbee of Florence.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Pat Lipsey of Hartselle. She is the granddaughter of Al and Lynda Armistead and the late Paul Grant of Decatur and the late Judson and Mary Lipsey of Hartselle.

She is a 2005 graduate of Hartselle High School and is attending the University of North Alabama where she is studying for a career in elementary education. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, Gamma Phi Chapter, a former UNA cheerleader and a member of the Sigmi Chi Sweetheart Court. She is employed at Beltone, Lister Health Care and Sheffield Park & Recreation.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of B. J. and the late Shirley Canup of Florence and Hubert and Louise Draper of Red Bay.

He is a 2003 graduate of Bradshaw High School and a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a B.S. degree in business marketing. While attending UNA he was a member of Sigma Chi and was selected as an Alpha Gamma Delta Calendar Man. He is employed at DACCO.

The wedding will take place June 9, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
