Crocker, Hadavi to exchange vows May 5 in Decatur

Mr. and Mrs. Brackett Small Crocker Sr. of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Elaine Crocker, to Elliott Hassan Hadavi, son of Renea Elliott Hadavi and the late Parviz Hadavi of Decatur.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Claude Alfred Anders and the late Lorene Holmes Anders of Hartselle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lamar Crocker of Mobile.

A 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School, she earned an associate in business administration degree from Wallace State Community College in a 2005, a bachelor of science degree from Auburn University in 2007 and a masters in business administration degree from Alabama A&M University in 2010. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta Alumni at Auburn and is employed as a contract specialist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sigmon Elliott of Decatur. A 2003 graduate of Austin/Tennessee Valley Christian Academy, he graduated from the Alabama Fire College in 2006 and 2008 as a professional firefighter I/II. He also graduated from Wallace State Community College in 2008 with an associate degree in applied science. He is also a nationally registered paramedic.

He is a member of IAFF Local #1437 and is employed by the City of Decatur as a fire-fighter/paramedic and Greg’s Ambulance Service in Lawrence County as a paramedic.

The wedding will take place at Decatur County Club on May 5, 2012.
