Nell Lowery Harrison

Funeral for Nell Lowery Harrison, 82, was Sun., April 15, at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Culbreath officiating.

Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrison died Fri., April 13, 2012, at her residence. She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Morgan County to James Wiley Lowery and Ora Ellen Ratliff Lowery. She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ratliff, Maurice and Howard Lowery.

She is survived by her husband, L.Q. Harrison of Hartselle; a son, Mark Harrison and wife Sherry Chandler Harrison of Hartselle; and a sister, Laura Jean Lowery Sterling of Speake, a granddaughter, Kassie Harrison Long and husband Caleb of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were Shirley Orr, Sam Gulley, Ray Williams, Kyle Merritt, Danny Andrews and Michael Long.
