Funeral for James Nelson Atanasoff II, 46, of Hartselle will be Wed., March 21, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with military honors.

Visitation will be Wed., March 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Mr. Atanasoff died Sat., March 17, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 11, 1966, to James Nelson Atanasoff and Patricia Cryer Atanasoff. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-nephew, Kason Gist.

He is survived by a sister, Jamie Gist and husband Keith of Moulton; two nephews, Kevin Gist and Alan Gist and wife Kali; and a great-niece, Lexi Gist.

Pallbearers will be Alan Gist, Rodney Hopkins, Bill Kyker, Kevin Martin and Anthony Lassiter.
