McAbee, Zelinski to wed in April

Mr. and Mrs. William Corbett McAbee of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Renee McAbee of Hoboken, N.J., to Steven Robert Zelinski of Manalapan, N.J., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Joseph Zelinski of Manalapan, N.J.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McAbee and Mr. Fred Ray and the late Mrs. Estella Ray, all of Hartselle. Miss McAbee is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science in business administration degree with majors in logistics and marketing.

At Auburn, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and president of Auburn Marketing Club. She is currently employed as an account executive with FedEx Services in New York, N.Y.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zelinski of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Joseph Curci of Staten Island, N.Y. Mr. Zelinski is a 2007 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science in business administration degree in finance.

He is currently employed with an investment bank as a Prime Client Representative in New York, N.Y.

The wedding will be April 14, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church Founder’s Chapel in Auburn with the Rev. Walter Blackman officiating.

A reception will follow at the Marriott at Grand National in Opelika.
