Arrest made in pair of local burglaries

A Somerville man was arrested last week in connection with two burglaries in Hartselle.
Dustin Grant Ward, 20, is charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree. Both burglaries were from the same victim on Lockhart Road in Hartselle on two different days.
The stolen items included coins, power tools and medication. Some of the tools and coins have been recovered.
Ward was arrested hours after the second burglary after allegedly using some of the coins at local stores. His bond is set at $1,500.
