HHS elects homecoming court

Hartselle High School elected six seniors and two each from the junior, sophomore and freshmen classes to serve as members of the 2006 homecoming court. Announcements were made last Friday in the Lizzie Reed Penn Library with parents doing the honors.
Homecoming will be observed on Thursday and Friday, Oct.19-20, with a street parade, pep rally, football game and dance.
Attendants are: (seniors) Kayla Renee Orr, daughter of Dennis and Wynette Orr; Katherine Michelle Staudt, daughter of Bobbie and Kristine Staudt; Tiffany Lynn Ashworth, daughter of Harry and Beth Ashworth; Whitney Ann Collins, daughter of Scott and Molly Collins; Shannon Marie Coots, daughter of Mark and Cathy Coots; and Kelli Marie Montgomery, daughter of LeeAnne Montgomery; (juniors) Lauren Rhene Dye, daughter of Gary and Kelly Dye; Nina Renee Halbrooks, daughter of Jimmie and Katherine Halbrooks; (sophomores) Brittany Megan Heflin, daughter of Tracy and Joe Hardison; Brianna Whitney Womack, Daughter of Starr and Lori Womack; (freshmen) Jami Lee Dean, daughter of Jimmie and Tracey Dean; and Rachel Ann Wiley, daughter of Barb Wiley.
The queen of the court will be announced during halftime of the Hartselle vs. J. O. Johnson football game.
