Horace Gordon ‘Pop’ Crow Sr.

Funeral for Horace Gordon “Pop” Crow Sr., 91, of Decatur was Saturday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.
Burial was in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mr. Crow died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. He was a member of Austinville Baptist Church. He was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and operated Crow Grocery on Danville Road for more than 15 years. He was a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge. Mr. Crow was preceded in death by his wives, Everleene Brown Crow and Agnes Cox Crow; a granddaughter, Margaret Ann Crow; and a grandson, Toby Terry.
He is survived by two sons, Horace Gordon Crow Jr. and wife Frances of Decatur and Don Hamil Crow and wife Harolyn of Hartselle; two daughters, Mary E. Roberts of Hartselle and Martha Terry and husband Tommy of Trinity; a brother, Buddy Pitts of Cookeville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.
