Funeral for Tina Anders Long, 53, of Danville will be Fri., Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Bros. Jack Bailey and Tom Campbell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thur., Feb. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Long died Tues., Jan. 31, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Jan. 18, 1959, in Morgan County to Bobby Anders and Syble Ward Anders. A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she graduated from Morgan County High School in 1977 and attended Calhoun Community College. She was an avid dirt track racing fan and especially enjoyed watching her son Chris race. She was also an avid basketball and softball fan and loved to watch her daughter Emily and all of her “adopted daughters” play.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Long of Danville; a son, Chris Long of Danville; a daughter, Emily Long of Danville and her fiancé, Will Edwards, of Columbus, Ga.; her father, Bobby D. Anders of Hartselle; and her mother, Syble Ward Anders, also of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Jason Skinner, Craig Skinner, Tim Vest, Tony Ward, Dale Long and Allen Praytor.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Skinner, Boyd Sparkman, and Bill Marshall.
