Local man wins horse championship

A Hartselle man has captured a world title at a recent Quarter Horse show in Amarillo, Texas.
James Kifer and See Me As Special, a Bay American Quarter Horse Gelding, claimed the Weanling Geldings Reserve World Champion Title at the Bayer Select World Championship Show.
The Bayer Select World Championship is an invitational event specifically for amateur exhibitors age 50 and older.
Kifer and JMK Rosalee, a Palomino American Quarter Horse Mare, also placed in the top 10 in Weanling Mares in the show.
