Robert Lindsey Dunn

Funeral for Robert Lindsey Dunn, 85, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 18, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines and Daniel Gaines officiating.
Burial was in Maude Cemetery in Colbert County.
Mr. Dunn died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at his residence. He was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Pollock, Texas to John Wright Dunn and Mazie Ann Finley Dunn. He grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin University and Baylor University. He worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority for 40 years as a research chemist. He retired two years early from TVA to take care of his ailing wife. He was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his wives, Una Moore Dunn and Azuban Plemons Dunn, and a son, Robert Larry Dunn.
He is survived by a daughter, Shelia Dunn Kyle and husband John of Hartselle; a brother, J.W. Dunn and wife Shirley of Henderson, Texas; two stepsons, Harold Plemons and Horace Plemons, both of Hartselle; a stepdaughter, Faye Plemons Ballentine of Decatur; two grandchildren, Mark Steven Kyle and Alana Kyle Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Levi Lindsey Peden, Trey Thompson and Tyler Lamons.
Pallbearers were Bobby Fox, Bill Kelly, Gene Parker, Ed Monroe, Wayne Hicks, and Cecil Cole.
