Bennie Ray Hipp

A graveside service for Bennie Ray Hipp, 74, of Hartselle was Saturday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hipp died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1932, in Marshall County to Benjamin and Effie Hipp. He was retired from the Alabama Farmers Co-op where he worked as transportation manager. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Manning.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Perry Hipp of Hartselle; two sons, Benji Hipp of Albertville and Robert Parsons of Decatur; three daughters, Jana Grissom and Kellye Champion, both of Hartselle and Susan Parsons of Decatur; a brother, Gail A. Hipp of Arab; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
