Bobbie Harris

A graveside service for Bobbie Harris, 65, of Decatur was Thursday, June 22, at 11:30 a.m. at Slaten Cemetery in Somerville with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Harris died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at her residence.
She was born March 15, 1941, in Morgan County to Oscar Kimbrough Slaten and Beatrice Lee Griffin Slaten. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Earl Harris and Bubba Harris; a daughter, Lolita Virciglio; and a grandson, Hunter Virciglio.
She was survived by a daughter, Cindy Brashears and husband J.P. of Baton Rouge, La.; two granddaughters, Shana Harris and Katie Virciglio of Gulf Shores; two grandsons, Jeremy Harris and John Paul Brashears of Baton Rouge, La.; three sisters, Linda Harris and husband Neil, Frances Arnold and husband Doug and Martha Slaten; and three brothers, Ken Slaten, Edgar Slaten and wife, MaryAnn Slaten and Michael Slaten.
Pallbearers were nephews.
