Former Hartselle resident earns award

Henry Leo Minor, chief of police in Vance, was awarded his certification as a police chief at the Alabama Association Chiefs of Police Conference in Mobile.
Minor, formerly of Hartselle, is the son of Jean Minor and the late Henry Odes Minor. He is the grandson of the late Maudie Minor Key, also of Hartselle.
