Motes descendents meet for pre-New Year reunion

As you reflect back on 2011, how many of the New Year’s resolutions you made at the end of 2010 did you keep and how many of them did you break?

Javon Alldredge enjoyed a visit with Brad and Pat Kingbury and John, Tammy and Brady Baylis recently. I wish them all a happy New Year.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to Lewis Maples, Evelyn Motes, Bill Maples and Jo Bomar in the loss of their aunt, Gertrude Bartlett.

On Friday afternoon, siblings and their families of the late Andrew and Ruth Motes enjoyed a New Year get-together at Ryan’s Restaurant in Decatur.

Belated birthday wishes go out this week to Linda Barr on Jan. 1, Betty Shelby and Eric Stolz, both on Jan. 2 and Martha Loney on Jan. 3.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Krista Casper, Ariana Rogers, and Betty Lucas, all on Jan. 4, Maelyn Rogers on Jan. 5, Abby Carpenter on Jan. 8 and Horace Plemons on Jan. 9

Happy wedding anniversary wishes go out to Chris and Kym Champion on Jan. 6.
