Hartselle man arrested in sting

A Hartselle man is among those arrested as a result of undercover drug investigations by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department.
Omar Shareef Muhammad, 22, of 312 Halbrooks Road in Hartselle, is charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of marijuana. Morgan County Drug Task Force agents and Hartselle Police found more than one pound of marijuana packaged for resell at a Quail Run apartment where Muhammad had stayed.
He is being held in the Morgan County Jail on $2,000 bond.
Also arrested were Christy Rene Boswell, 22, of 912 16th Ave. SW, Decatur; Marlon Kervin Collier, 27, of 1022 Bedford Dr. SW, Decatur; Selena Ann Collier, 27, of 1022 Bedford Dr. SW, Decatur; and Israel Bates Montreal, 30, of 1613 16th Ave. SE, Decatur.
Boswell is charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of cocaine and is being held on $2,000 bond. Collier is charged with unlawful distribution of Lortab and Lorcet and is being held on $2,000 bond. Selena Collier is charged with unlawful distribution of Lortab. She is being held on $1,000 bond. Bates is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree and is being held on $500 bond.
The arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into marijuana, cocaine and prescription drug sales in the county.
