A memorial service for Randy Weatherford, 51, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), June 8, at 7 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Redfern, Jr. officiating.
Mr. Weatherford died Monday, June 5, 2006, at his residence. He was born Aug. 17, 1954, in Tennessee to George Holt Weatherford and Dorthy M. Weatherford.
He was a master welder, a loving uncle and a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He served in the U.S. Navy for two and a half years.
He is survived by his parents, George and Dorthy M. Weatherford of Hartselle; a brother, Michael Weatherford and wife Susan of Hartselle; two sisters, Linda Jones and husband J.R. and daughter Vannessa of Kingsport, Tenn., and Cara Barnhart and husband Tom and daughter Anna of Lacey's Spring; two nieces, Carrie Wilson and husband Chris and Jessie Holabaugh, all of Hartselle; four great-nieces and nephews, Mikey and Abby Wilson, Chloe and Hunter Holabaugh, all of Hartselle; several aunts and uncles, all of Tennessee.
