A graveside service for Maggie Pruitt Skelton, 91, of Falkville was Saturday, May 27, at 2:30 p.m. at Pine View Memorial Gardens in Wetumpka with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Skelton died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Aug. 22, 1914, in Elmore County to Mike Pruitt and Emma Dora Bass Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Starlin Skelton; a sister, Nona Henderson; and three brothers, William Pruitt, George Pruitt and M. A. Pruitt.
She is survived by her caregivers, Elmer and Dot Pruitt of Hartselle; a sister-in-law, Becky Barnett of Greenville, S.C.; and nieces and nephews of the Pruitt and Skelton families.
