Funeral for Loyce Nelson McCaig, 56, of Hartselle was Sunday, May 7, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Barry Cook and the Rev. Jimmy Reeves officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson died Friday, May 5, 2006, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1950 in Morgan County to Johnny Washington Nelson and Gracie Colleen Vines Nelson.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Robert McCaig of Falkville; two sons, Jamie Lee Barber and wife Kim of Somerville and William Robert McCaig and wife Alisha of Falkville; a daughter, Cindy Marie Barber of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Casey Lee Barber and wife Samantha of Somerville and Tosha Logsdon and Randall Morris of Hartselle; two great-grandchildren, Daniel Morris of Hartselle and Keegan Barber of Somerville; her mother and stepfather, Roy and Colleen Reeves of Hartselle; three brothers, Johnny Wayne Nelson and Billy James, both of Falkville and David Nelson of Hartselle; two sisters, Laverne Garrison of Danville and Joyce Barber of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Randall Morris, Chris Blasingame, Lindsey Springer, Ricky Barber, Josh Barber, Justin Barber, Greg Barber and Malcolm Leeth.
