Bluitt E. Wallace

Funeral for Bluitt E. Wallace, 85, of Hartselle was Thursday, March 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wendell Callahan and Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1920, in Morgan County to George Freeman Wallace and Mamie Filyaw Wallace. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Sims Wallace; three brothers, Luther, Lewis and Horace Wallace; and a sister, Lulene Vest.
He is survived by a son, James David Wallace of Hartselle; a daughter, Dianne Rollins Watson and husband Stanley of Saint Francisville, La.; two sisters, Lorene Lovelady of Decatur and Adene Johnson of Neel; two grandsons, Shannon Rollins and wife Fran of Baton Rouge, La. and Steven Wallace Rollins of Vicksburg, Miss.; a great-granddaughter, Brett Rollins; and a great-grandson, Zachary Rollins.
Pallbearers were Shannon Rollins, Steven Rollins, George W. Sims, Scotty Lovelady, Danny Wallace and Donald Wallace.
