Albert Lowell Henry

Funeral for Albert Lowell Henry, 87, of Hartselle will be Friday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry McElroy officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday (today) from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Henry died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at his residence. He was owner of Midway Blind and Floor Covering in Decatur for 28 years. He was a deacon and lifelong member of Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Airsh Laverne Henry and three brothers, Roy Joe Henry, Robert Lee Henry and Dalton Archie Henry.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce Lowell Henry and wife Diana and Hugh Edgar Henry and wife JoAnn, all of Hartselle; a daughter, Doris Henry Ward of Hartselle; three brothers, Howard Henry of Loraine, Ohio, Charles Henry of Hartselle and James Henry of Falkville; two sisters, Gladys Henry Knox and Cozie Henry Holmes, both of Hartselle; eight grandchildren, Chad Henry, Christi McAbee and husband Troy, Kenneth Ward and wife Carmen, Ed Henry and wife Wendi, P.J. Henry and wife Kara, all of Hartselle, Cindy Holsclaw and husband Jeff of Decatur, John Ward and wife Paula of Hillsboro and Nikki Ward of Vermont; 13 grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Clemons, Conrad Bell, Robert Tucker, Chad Henry, Eugene Knox and Mike Knox.
