A 29-year-old Cullman man is charged with rape and sodomy following an alleged rape in the parking lot of Hartselle's Wal-Mart June 24.
Adan Avilla Rodriguez of 1201 Dripping Springs Road, Apt. B in Cullman, is charged with rape and sodomy in the first degree. On June 24, Hartselle Police were notified of a rape that allegedly occurred in the parking lot of Hartselle's Wal-Mart. A 13-year-old said she was forced to have sexual intercourse with an unknown Hispanic male inside a parked car. Police said the teenager had previous contact with the man but did not know his name.
