Cancilla, Bass to wed Oct. 8
Tom and Marie Cancilla of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Ren/e Marie Cancilla, to Jeffery Phillip Bass, son of Anne and Randy Hinderer of Auburn and Steve Bass of Andalusia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and Auburn University.
She is employed in Auburn as a dental assistant. She is the granddaughter of Frances Demeester of Amherst, N.Y., the late Maurice Demeester, and the late Mike and Mary Cancilla.
The groom-elect is employed with the Opelika Fire Department. He is the grandson of Jo Darst of Palm Beach, Fla., Louise Bass of Andalusia and the late Marcus Bass.
The wedding will be held Oct. 8 at Hartselle Christian Church.
Rodriguez, Chambless to wed
Jes and Brenda Rodriguez of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Ellen Rodriguez, to Russell Nelson Chambless, son of Ned and Jane Chambless of Sharpsburg, Ga.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and Jacksonville State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. She is the granddaughter of the late Luther A. Winkler and Lorene Winkler.
The groom-elect is a graduate of East Coweta High School and the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is the grandson of Leroy and Ella Hill Johnson of Turin, Ga.
The wedding will be held July 9 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Newnan, Ga. with the reception at Dunnaway Gardens.
Holland, Haskell to wed Sept. 3
Ron and Betty Holland of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Roni Elizabeth Holland of Charleston, S.C., to Adam Porter Haskell of Mount Pleasant, S.C., son of Sam and Judy Haskell of Charleston, S.C.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Pelham High School and Auburn University. She is a member of the Junior League of Charleston and is employed in real estate sales for Beazer Homes. She is the granddaughter of Aline Eddins of Hattiesburg, Miss., Betty Martin of Hartselle and the late Dr. James S. Martin.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Sumter High School. He is the owner of Granite Shop LLC. He is the grandson of Mrs. S. Rhea Haskell Sr. of Columbia S.C., the late S. Rhea Haskell Sr., and the late Theodore Carter Davis and Arlene Gracen Davis.
The wedding will be held Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Carraway-Davie House in Birmingham.
Riggins, Frye to wed July 2
David and Debbie Riggins of Danville announce the engagement of their daughter, Shana Nicole Riggins, to Jason Roy Frye, son of Bobby Frye of Hartselle and the late Janice Frye.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Danville High School. She is employed with Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Hartselle.
She is the granddaughter of Robert and Lavada Smith and Gertrude Black, all of Decatur, and the late Harold Black.
The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Hartselle High School.
He is employed with Lowe's Home Improvement in Decatur.
The wedding will be held July 2 at the home of the bride's parents.
Stiles, Lawrimore to wed July 2
Kelley and Vickie Stiles of Hartselle and Lisa Stiles of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Megan Stiles, to Michael Andrew Lawrimore, son of Mike and Debbie Lawrimore of Falkville.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Falkville High School and is currently attending the Wallace State Community College nursing program.
She is the granddaughter of James and Judy Short of Moulton, James and Elizabeth Brown of Falkville, the late Charles Stiles and the late Wanda Hogan. She is the great granddaughter of EJ and Lucille Cagle of Huntsville.
The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Falkville High School and is currently attending the Wallace State Community College business management program. He is the grandson of Mary Holmes, Eldred and Jo Lawrimore, all of Falkville, and Freddie Sr. and Sue Holmes of Houston.
The wedding will be held July 2 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Church of God.
