Hurricanes capture come from behind win
Hurricanes 11, Huntsville Cardinals 10
The Hartselle Hurricanes came away with an exciting come-from-behind victory June 14 against the Cardinals of Huntsville. The Canes were down 10-9 in the ninth inning, but came back with two runs in the bottom of the frame to pull out the win.
Trent Preuitt pitched 4 2/3 innings to pick up the win, and added two hits on offense. Jason Preuitt led the Canes with four hits, and Robby Robinson followed closely behind with three. Stephen Conway, Drew Yates and Erik Hulse also collected two hits, and Wes Springer and Clay Carter had one hit each.

Hartselle Dixie Baseball League's 9/10 division recently named its All-Star teams, as follows:

From Georgia Tech: Thomas Fleischman and Alston Howard From Mississippi State: Thomas Penton and Prestyn Wallace
From Stanford: Troy Harris, Zac Pershin, and Levi Tapscott
From Wallace State: Blaine Holt, Tyler Phillips, Brady Wallace and Jacob Whitt. Mickey Wallace is manager and assistant coaches are Jeff Howard and Myron Tapscott.
