Funeral for Peggy Joyce Stinson McGinnis, 62, of Decatur was Sunday, June 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Ripley officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mrs. McGinnis died Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born March 9, 1943, in Jefferson County.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas McGinnis of Decatur; two sons, Jeffery D. Smith and Timothy Smith, both of Pensacola, Fla.; two stepsons, Matthew McGinnis and Donald McGinnis, both of Texas; one stepdaughter, Cathy McGinnis of Texas; two brothers, Lowell Stinson of Decatur and Lindy Stinson of Mission Viejo, Calif.; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jim Wise, Cora McNally, Clark Yates, Mat McGinnis, Don McGinnis and Rhea Greenwell.
