Seybourn Eugene Hopper Sr.

Funeral for Seybourn Eugene Hopper Sr., 83, of Warrior was held Sunday, June 5, at 7 p.m. at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerrell Brown officiating.
A graveside service was held Monday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Hopper died Thursday, June 2, 2005. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Warrior First Baptist Church. His wife, Dortha Magaline Hopper, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hopper of Warrior; one son, retired Capt. Seybourn Eugene Hopper Jr. of Leeds; one daughter, Janet Elaine Stoecker of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Maggie Taylor of Hartselle; a stepdaughter, Mary Dunn of Auburn; sisters-in-law, Frances Askins of Birmingham, Faye Mizzele of Holly Pond, Lorene Hopper and Willie Faye Hopper, both of Hartselle; special friend, Bill Walker of Warrior; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
