Funeral for Walter "Bud" Luke Lee, 81, of Hartselle was Wednesday, June 1, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Brooks Barkley and Bryan Lakey officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Lee died Monday, May 30, 2005. He was born Dec. 28, 1923, in Morgan County to Walter Luke Lee and Charlotte Darmer Lee. He worked at Worthington Air Conditioning for 20 years, then opened Valley Truss on 4th Avenue, Decatur, before owning and operating Lee Manufacturing and Construction. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church for 65 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Lee of Hartselle; one son, Danny L. Lee and wife Hannah of Hartselle; one daughter, Sheri Stanford and husband Robert of Hartselle; two sisters, Sue Kitchens and husband Horace of Decatur and Linda Ornstein and husband Melvin of Town Creek; four grandchildren, Emily Barkley and husband Aaron of Hartselle, Stephanie Bland and husband Jacob of Knoxville, Will Kimbrough and Seth Kimbrough and wife Elizabeth, all of Hartselle. Pallbearers were friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
